Privacy policy
Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains how rapvid handles information when you visit the site, write lyrics or create rap performance videos. We collect information needed to operate the service, protect it from abuse, and understand how people use it when they choose to allow analytics.
Text you submit
When you ask a tool to generate lyrics or an audio draft, the text you enter and the options you choose are sent to a third-party AI model provider to produce a result. The provider processes the request to return generated text or audio. Avoid submitting passwords, financial details, private contact information, or other sensitive information that is not needed for your creative request.
Generated material can reflect details in your input. Review your input and output before sharing either with anyone else. The handling of a request by the model provider is also subject to the provider's applicable policies and technical arrangements.
Audio and video files
Your selected audio file is decoded in your browser so you can choose and listen to a passage for the basic five-second generator. The selected passage is sent to our service only when you submit a video request. Audio and performer settings are processed by AI service providers to create the visuals and lip-sync. Upload only audio you have the rights to use.
Uploaded audio passages are scheduled to expire after 24 hours. Working video files are scheduled to expire after one day, and completed video results after seven days. Expired files are removed by a background cleanup process; deletion can take longer if a cleanup attempt fails. Download paid results you want to keep. For a deletion request, email support@rapvidai.app with the relevant account or job reference.
Music video setup and portrait
The homepage stores your selected song in your browser to restore it after sign-in. The site attempts to clear it after a successful submission; you can also clear it through your browser's site data. A portrait selected for the queue stays in your browser and is not sent with a queue request. The queue saves your account, request type and selected options, but not your photo or song. A preview request sends the selected audio passage.
Accounts and payments
For sign-in, we obtain only your Google account name, email address, and profile picture for your account.
Account information, including your email address and authentication records, is used to sign you in and protect access to your work. Purchase and credit records are used to track entitlements and resolve payment or generation issues. Payment providers handle payment credentials; do not send card details through a creative prompt or support email. Transaction and security records may be retained where needed for accounting, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
Server logs and security
Our servers may receive ordinary technical information when a browser connects, including IP address, request time, requested path, and information about the browser or device. We use server logs and IP addresses to run the service, apply rate limits, investigate failures, and prevent abuse. We retain information only as needed for these purposes, subject to technical and legal requirements.
Security measures can reduce risk but no online service can promise absolute security. Please contact us if you believe there is a security or privacy issue involving your use of the site.
Analytics and your choice
We use Google Analytics to understand site visits and improve the experience. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies using the consent banner. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics or send it analytics requests. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie so the site can remember it on later visits.
When you consent, rapvid may record an example being played using an allowlisted label. The current music video setup does not send your song, portrait, file names or portrait information to analytics. Events before consent are not stored for later replay, and withdrawing consent stops later anonymous events.
When analytics is enabled, Google may receive information about your browser, device, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google processes that information under its own policies. You can also control cookies through your browser; clearing the consent cookie may cause the choice to be shown again.
Sharing and your choices
We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, and measure the service, or when required by law. These providers include infrastructure, the AI model provider, and Google Analytics when you consent. We may disclose information to respond to a valid legal request or protect the service and its users.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. We will consider requests under applicable law and may need enough information to understand and verify a request. For privacy questions or requests, email support@rapvidai.app.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Please review this page periodically to understand how information is handled.
